What is the metaverse? The metaverse is a virtual 3D world, or worlds, that are immersive, and non-collaborative.

Just as the physical universe is a collection of worlds that are connected in space, the metaverse can be thought of as a bunch of goods and bacteria, too.

Humans and most animals carry millions of bacteria. Most are in the gut, and there are many on the skin. Most of the bacteria in and on the body are harmless or rendered so by the protective effects of the immune system, though many are beneficial, particularly the ones in the gut.

The metaverse is an ideal context for shopping and repetition.
